Charles Manuel is the founder and Managing Director of BPP.  Over the past 20 years, Charlie has successfully closed 50+ sell-side M&A and capital raising transactions for its enterprise software & industrial technology clients. Prior to founding Black Point Partners, Charlie was  Head of Technology Investment Banking at Sun Trust Equitable Securities and Managing Director in the Enterprise Software group at Volpe Brown Whelan & Company.  He holds FINRA Series 24, 63, 79 and 82 certifications.

Charlie received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth.

Charlie is married with three children and lives on Boston’s North Shore. He enjoys playing squash and golf (most of the time) and is an accomplished musician.
